Do you just search on every local CL for these minivans?
I live near a few of these. If you fund the operation, I’d be happy to pick one up and deliver it to you.

Michigan isn’t much better.
That first Turbo one sounds too good to be true. That wtf money.

It’s got pretty heavy rot in the passenger side. Guessing it needs more than they are letting on, but overall, I’d be all over it if it was local.

I just search all over. Seattle is about 28hrs away.
Just wishful thinking I guess.....

I keep telling myself if I ever get to buying a squarebody Suburban like I want I will book a one way flight out to Airzona or something. It’s depressing how much rust you find here for a higher price than you’d pay elsewhere.

Me too. Those all disappeared years ago around me.

Pull the motor, interior and everything else worthwhile - that has to be worth the ask, right?

I’ve thought about up and moving. But with kids and stuff it’ll be hard.

WI can’t be all the bad. You voted out Scott Walker.

As I’ve offered to other Oppos, for the cost of transportation (I fly the cheapest flights imaginable) I do deliveries. I love car purchase road trips!

I bet the PNW ones have no rust.
The drawback is Seattle vs Milwaukee area housing is probably at about a 8 :1 price ratio.

wait, people actually live in WI??? I thought the state was just a big cattle pen.

Have it s hipped. That would raise a few questions!

searchtempest used to be my favorite tool for this game. It’s evolved a bit and it kind of clunky now, in my opinion. But it’s basically a CL consolidator.

I actually was working on shipping one from there. Was an 89 Turbo Manual, needed headgasket, otherwise looked very nice. The owner completely shut down when I started talking about shipping it.

I actually love WI, other than trying to find my era vans in good shape.

That’s because everyone has put these glorious K-cars into storage for the winter.
Check back in the spring, maybe around July.

The body is still fixable from what I can see, so I’d fix it up and drive it.

O/T, when are you going to put Hobbyist plates on that thing? It pays for itself after year 2.
(I’m seeing lots of amazing 90s pleb-boxes with these plates in GB)
![]() 11/09/2018 at 12:26 |

Being I daily drive both of mine year round, hobby/collector plates are out as they have a month/year they cannot be driven. That and the weight limit for hauling imposed on hobby plates.
Between the 2, I’ll just keep my normal plates.

I always forget you’re not supposed to drive in Jan with them. My dad has them on his ‘95 truck, and I’m sure he drives around. But they live in the boo
nies, so no one cares.

Not sure how well they watch that aspect, I know they watch the tow/hauling limit aspect heavy around here though.
